Bronze Sculptures

The Menagerie

Nine life-size bronze companions created by Tyler Balko and Marina Guglielmi, hidden in plain sight.

Bronze animal sculptures in Love Park

Scattered throughout the rolling grassy mounds and quiet clearings of Love Park is a "menagerie" of nine cast-bronze animal sculptures. These native Canadian species, depicted at life-size, add a layer of playful discovery to the landscape.

Unlike traditional statues, these creatures are not placed on pedestals. They rest on the ground, on benches, or on the edge of the mosaic pond, inviting touch and interaction. They represent the silent residents of our city's green spaces.
